BELLEVUE, WA – September 7, 2016, Axia Home Loans is excited to welcome Ray Harvey, Area Manager of the South Puget Sound Region. Ray’s diverse experience and leadership only strengthens the region that already has a long track record of developing top sales and operations teams, while growing targeted market presence.

Ray was a highly recruited candidate but ultimately chose Axia Home Loans because he sees a company with similar interests and focus on serving the Northwest. He also mentioned that Axia’s genuinely balanced culture with proven local leadership was a big factor in his decision.

“I’m super excited to welcome Ray Harvey to the Axia team”, said Gellert Dornay, President and CEO. He added, “His decades of experience supporting quality originators in the Puget Sound area will be a huge lift for us in our own backyard. Recruiting great folks has never been more challenging than today. Axia’s incredible production platform combined with Ray’s talent and charisma and our recently becoming an employee owned company will create a compelling attraction for forward thinking originators and teams.”

“It is no secret the Puget Sound’s continued residential and commercial development, promising economic environment, stable population growth, and seasoned talent pool makes strategic expansion in this area a natural for Axia . . . particularly given we are a locally headquartered mortgage provider,” said Ray Harvey, Axia Home Loans Area Manager. “I’m born and raised in Washington State, went to school and graduated from college here, and have made the South Puget Sound home and where I’m raising my family. It is an honor to be able to work for a company that has deep roots in Washington and look forward to expanding our footprint,” added Ray.

Axia has already identified new branch opportunities in the Puget Sound market and looks forward to targeted expansion efforts throughout the greater South Puget Sound Region.

The addition of Ray to the Axia family will not only expand the footprint of the company in the South Puget Sound Region but also further solidify their mission to create sustainable homeownership through responsible lending in the communities in which they live and work.
